Ruby G. Densmore, 89, of Gainesville died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born May 5, 1920 in Dawson County to the late James and Ethel Mincey Gooch, she moved to Hall County over 20 years ago. Mrs. Densmore was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Densmore; sisters, Hazel Bredeen, Elizabeth Gamblin, Lavonia Densmore; and brothers, Garland Gooch and Guy Gooch.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Floyd, Gainesville, Danny and Sharon Densmore, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Jewell and Howard Burt, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Sonya and Jason Chesser, Audrey and Scott Borchers, Ryan Densmore; great-grandchildren, Jenna Chesser, Josie Chesser, Cole Borchers, Kale Borchers.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Robert Johnson will officiate.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am Friday, February 19th at the funeral home.
